While experimenting with an exciting variety of the artist's tools, media and techniques, students will learn to explore and trust their imagination and creative instinct. Working from still life, photographs and images from art history, students will be introduced to drawing and painting fundamentals and techniques. These include line, value, shape, pattern, texture, shading, highlighting, colour perspective and collage. Young artists will develop their artistic skills while discovering their own personal style.
